the exploding hues of golden red and yellow
waking a warm hope in you the breeze cool mellow
mild bright globe hung on the easterly side
drowning the sky in a fresh light tide
its the nature's conspiracy of a biochemical coup
falling in love with the rising sun are you
there's something more that you should know
the inevitable which follows this magnificent show
of the brightness that'll turn your gaze away
then the scorching heat that rains on the midday
lowly evening farewell with escaping twilight
and a sunless night of moon and starlight
the sun is not bound to the eastern low
there's more to it, than the morning show

the image of the sun is perfect. to tell the 'you' that the sun can't be held back. and if u try doing it, it vl burn u.
it has greater goals and multiple aspects to its personality. and it can't be restricted.
its a kind of warning to the 'you', accept the sun as it is, with all the inevitables, if u really love it or the sun is going to follow its will and find its own way.
the 'you' if she really loves the sun, she can't be loving only the rising sun. she should be loving the sun in every circumsatnces and all the diamentions of it and give scope to every possible move that a sun can make in order to go forward instead of asking it to stay back in the east. 'shaljodit' i vl call it.
the only favor the 'you' gets is, the poet is accepting that the 'you' is in love with the rising sun and the fact that the poet is trying to make her aware of the inevitables shows that the 'you' means something to the poet and he cares for her.
may be, if the 'you' is promised of the following morning and mornings to come, her approach might change.
may be the 'you' wanted the sun to be only hers. but now that its the 'sun' and not any other image, she cant ask 4 it.
artistically the poem is very good with all the images and descriptions of morning, afternoon and eve. the act of falling in love is called a biochemical coup and nature's conspiracy. i see the metaphysical style here.
WOW!!
Thanks.
Thats the most well written comment I've got! This should go down in the history of blogs (or at least my blog) as the one comment which is better than the original post itself!!!
i was expecting some 'i agree with this and i dont agree with this' thingy.
